Tesla Recalls nearly 30,000 Tesla Model X cars in model years 2021 to 2023- Check out in detail

Tesla issues back-to-back recalls, one impacting 322,000 cars with crash risk increase

According to a NHTSA report, the risk can be solved with a software update free of charge for current owners of the Model X vehicle.

Vehicles in production and in pre-delivery containment received the firmware update that includes the remedy on Nov. 15, the report says.

The issue, according to the report, was caused by taillights that intermittently illuminated and risked the increase of collision.

The taillight issue can also be remedied by an over-the-air firmware update, akin to a software patch sent to a computer or smartphone.

The automaker’s proprietary programming allows for continuous updates over-the-air.

So far no injuries or deaths have been reported in connection to either recall.
