Starkville native Willie Gay Jr. finished tied for second on the Chiefs with five tackles.

Darius Slay and Fletcher Cox both contributed to keep the Philadelphia Eagles the NFL’s only undefeated team at 8-0. Slay and Cox each tallied four tackles, and Cox recorded one of his stops behind the line of scrimmage.

Slay also has the lowest passer rating in the league at 35.3.

Montez Sweat earned the top defensive grade for the Washington Commanders during Week 9 with an 83. PFF credited Sweat with six pressures against the Minnesota Vikings and is now tied for second in the NFL with 19 quarterback hits on the year.

Kylin Hill has made his long-awaited return to the Green Bay Packers. Hill, recovering from a knee injury that ended 2021, had one rush for 7 yards and also recorded three snaps on special teams against the Detroit Lions.

Hill’s former Golden Triangle teammate Kobe Jones was signed to the Carolina Panthers’ practice squad on November 7.

In a surprise move, the Las Vegas Raiders released former first-round pick Johnathan Abram on Nov. 8. Abram recorded six tackles and earned the Raiders’ top grade during Week 9.

Abram started six of eight games this season and was the team’s second-best player.
